Portrayal of Culture

Since my collection has an Indowestern theme to it, every piece that I designed means a lot to me. Being able to effortlessly express myself as a first generation South Indian girl that grew up in America is something that I was always eager to have. The pieces in my collection can be worn in a modern/western way but can easily be transformed into a traditional outfit.

This capsule of my project portrays how I would take the garment that I produced and style it in a traditional way.
